Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Internvest, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Internvest," "we," or "us"), covering your use of internvest.com and our related apps, emails and services. By creating an account, buying anything from us or otherwise using Internvest, you agree to them, and you acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Terms shown to you when you buy something, and the separate agreement Campus Ambassadors sign, also apply; if they conflict with these terms, they control for that purchase or that agreement.

2. What Internvest is

Internvest provides tools and content to help students prepare for and track recruiting in finance and related careers. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

Dates, requirements, and firm details on a tracked opening are collected in good faith from public postings, and firms change them without notice. Always confirm deadlines and requirements against the firm's own posting before you rely on them. Firm Intel interview questions are labeled by source in the app and are not independently confirmed with the firm.

Internvest does not guarantee that you will be asked any particular question in any interview, including the questions Internvest provides.

3. Your account

Keep your login credentials to yourself. One subscription is one seat for one person; sharing an account or reselling access is not allowed. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us right away if you think someone else has gotten into it.

You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy a plan.

Internvest is operated from the United States and designed for users in the United States and Canada. If you use it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.

4. Plans, trials, and billing

Internvest offers three plans, all of them subscriptions, all billed in advance in US dollars through Stripe, our payment processor:

• Monthly: $49, charged once a month.
• Quarterly: $99, charged once every three months.
• Annual: $288, charged once a year.
• All three start with a 3-day free trial. The free trial is available once per person. You give a payment method at checkout, and it is charged when the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.
• All three renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you chose the plan, until you cancel. Section 5 says how cancelling works.
• You can move to a longer plan from your account settings, which show what the change costs before you confirm it.
• A referral discount (section 7) or a promotion code comes off the payment it names. One discount applies to a payment: a promotion code you type replaces a referral discount for that payment.
• Prices do not include taxes. Where the law requires us to collect sales, use, goods and services or similar taxes, we add them at checkout and on renewals.
• If a payment fails, we may try it again, and we may suspend or end access to the plan until it is paid.
• Charges appear on your card or bank statement as INTERNVEST.COM.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your plan at any time in your account settings or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal and never costs a fee. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your plan ends then; nothing more is charged.

If you cancel during the free trial, you keep access until the trial ends and you are not charged at all.

Payments are not refundable, and we do not give credit for part of a billing period, for time you did not use, or for a plan you stopped using, except where the law requires it.

5a. Coaching sessions

Coaching is one to one sessions of 40 minutes with a coach you choose, bought one at a time or in packs of sessions and paid once through Stripe. It is not a subscription, and nothing renews.

After you pay, we contact you to agree the time of each session with your coach. To cancel or move a session, tell us at least 24 hours before it starts. With less notice, or if you do not attend, the session counts as used. A session your coach or we call off does not count.

Packs never expire: the sessions you have left stay yours.

Coaching payments are not refundable. We do not refund a session or a pack once it is paid, including sessions you do not use, except where the law requires it, as section 5 describes. Coaches are independent professionals, and their advice is their own.

6. Gifts

A gift is a one-time payment for a stretch of membership for someone else: one month (30 days), three months (91 days) or one year (365 days), each at the price of that plan. Nothing renews, and no card is kept for the person you give it to.

After payment you get a gift code, which we can also send to the recipient on the day you pick. The recipient redeems it on their own Internvest account; their access starts on the day they redeem it and lasts for the gift's stretch. A code works once. It cannot be redeemed on an account that already has a paid plan, and on an account that already holds a gift the new stretch is added to the end.

A gift payment follows section 5: it is not refunded except where the law requires it. If a gift is refunded, its code stops working.

7. Referrals

Every account has a referral code and a link. A person who signs up with your link, or types your code when choosing a plan, is your referral. An account has one referrer, the first code it used, and you cannot refer yourself.

The discount is for the referred member only: $20 off their first payment, once, on their first plan. It is not available to an account that has held a plan before, and the member who shared the code gets no discount from it.

The person who shared the code, a member or a Campus Ambassador, earns a commission, once per referral, when the referred member makes the first payment of the plan the code was used on: $5 for a Monthly plan, $15 for a Quarterly plan and $35 for an Annual plan. A free trial is not a payment, and later payments and other purchases earn nothing. The amount is fixed when the payment is made.

Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it came from. If that payment is refunded or charged back, the commission is cancelled; if it was already credited or paid to you, its amount comes off your next credit or payout.

Members are rewarded in Internvest account credit, not cash. Once a month, each commission past its hold is added to your account credit (once you have a plan), which Stripe, our payment processor, holds on your account and takes off your next subscription payment automatically. You can also use it toward a coaching purchase, on the Coach tab, when you pay. Account credit has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

Campus Ambassadors are paid in cash instead, once a month through Stripe, to a payout account they set up with Stripe from a link we send them, as independent contractors under their own agreement. You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.

Do not post your code on coupon or deal sites, pay for search ads on the Internvest name, send spam, create fake accounts, or pay people to sign up. We may cancel commissions earned that way and close the code. We may change the amounts or stop offering referrals under section 12; a commission already earned is paid at the amount in force when it was earned.

8. Acceptable use

A short list, applied with common sense:

• Do not scrape, bulk-export, or republish the tracker, drills, or firm intel, or reach them by automated means. They are for your own recruiting prep.
• Do not use the platform to harass anyone or to break any law.
• Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the service.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

9. Your content and ours

You own what you enter: your notes, the openings you track and the stages you record, your target firms, and your answers. You give us permission to store, process and use it to run and improve Internvest and as our Privacy Policy describes. Everything else on the platform, including the drills, lesson content, and software, belongs to Internvest, and your subscription is a license to use it, not to copy it. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

10. No promised outcomes

Internvest is a preparation tool. We believe it materially improves your odds, and we let you test that during the 3-day trial, but we do not and cannot promise interviews, offers, or any particular career outcome. Nothing on the platform is career counseling, financial advice, or legal advice.

11. Liability

The service is provided as is.

The next two sentences do not apply to consumers in Quebec to the extent the Quebec Consumer Protection Act prohibits them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim connected to Internvest is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Changes to these terms

This section does not apply to consumers in Quebec to the extent the Quebec Consumer Protection Act prohibits it. We may change these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them on this page with a new "Last updated" date at the top, so please check this page from time to time. If you keep using Internvest after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using Internvest and cancel your plan.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

The next sentence does not apply to consumers in Quebec, who may bring a claim before the courts of Quebec. Any dispute connected to these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both of us consent to their jurisdiction.

If you use Internvest from outside the United States, you keep any consumer protections that the mandatory law of your home jurisdiction grants you.
