Before founding CLCM, John was a Deutsche Bank Managing Director in London, responsible for US dollar credit trading in Europe and the crossover book. He began as an institutional corporate-bond trader at Kidder Peabody and PaineWebber (UBS). John holds a BA in Economics from Haverford College and is a Co-Founder of Internvest, Inc.

He is a former Managing Director and Co-Head of Credit Alternatives at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he also served as Head of Liquid Credit Products. Sal co-led a 65-person platform and was lead PM for about $8 billion across hedge funds, opportunistic credit, and private middle-market strategies, and sat on the Goldman Sachs BDC Investment Committee. He later ran high-yield and leveraged-loan portfolios at hedge funds Compass Rose, Millennium, and Balyasny, where he built the firm's syndicated loan business. He began in high-yield trading at PaineWebber (now UBS) and RBS. Sal holds an MBA from the University of Delaware and a BBA from Hofstra, where he wrestled NCAA Division I.

Recruited from Tudor Investment, he built a team of four senior analysts and grew the book to $3 billion. Earlier he managed financial-sector books at Balyasny, at JCAM (Moore Capital spinout), and at SAC Capital (now Point72). Brad began as an institutional trader and market maker in Goldman Sachs's Equities Division for over 10 years before moving to the buy side. Brad is a CFA charterholder.
